The Pequot Lakes Patriots swept the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines in straight sets Tuesday for a 7-0 win.

The dual meet victory improved Pequot's season record to 14-2 overall and 5-1 in the Mid-State Conference.

Sarah Najjar's victory at No. 3 singles gave the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines their lone victory in a 6-1 loss Sept. 22 to the Parkers Prairie Panthers.

Najjar defeated Ellen Dauphinais 6-1, 6-4 to break up a Parkers Prairie sweep in singles play.

The Panthers were straight sets winners in six of the seven matches.

The loss dropped the Wolverines to 0-10 on the season.
