WDC golfers take fifth at Blueberry Pines

Hope Theisen fired a 98 in leading the Wadena-Deer Creek girls to a fifth-place finish in the United North Central Invitational at Blueberry Pines.

Paige Hartman brought in a 103 for the Wolverines while Amanda Kramer carded a 109, Ella Harrison shot a 111 and Jenna Ludovissie posted a 139.

Staples-Motley's Emily Israelson shot a 76 for medalist honors.

Wolverines place fifth

in Mid-State

Hope Theisen's 96 led the way as the Wolverines finished fifth in the six-team Mid-State Conference meet at the Headwaters in Park Rapids.

WDC's Amanda Kramer also came under the century mark with a 99. The team got a 102 from Paige Hartman, a 103 from Kelsey Browne, a 104 from Ella Harrison and a 105 from Breanna Speed.

Earning all-conference status were Detroit Lakes' Trisa Hutchinson, Kate Smith, Matt Tschider and Courtney Hedstrom; Staples-Motley's Emiy Israelson and Kristen Schneider and Pequot Lakes' Savannah Stone.

Wolverines take 13th

at Vintage

Amanda Kramer brought in the low team score for the second tournament in a row Saturday as she led WDC to a 13th place finish in the Staples-Motley Invitational.

Playing in cold, wet conditions, the Wolverines posted a team score of 415. Kramer led the WDC effort with a 96.

Finishing behind Kramer was Hope Theisen (105), Paige Hartman (106), Kelsey Browne (108), Ella Harrison (117) and Sydney Schissel (119).

Kourtney Williams of Becker was the meet medalist with a 76.

Kramer fires 98

in WHA Invitational

Amanda Kramer shot a 98 as the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines placed seventh in the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Invitational May 12.

WDC's Hope Theisen brought in a 101 while Kelsey Browne and Paige Hartman shot 109, Ella Harrison carded a 113 and Sydney Schissel shot a 114.

Crookston's Monica Wold took medalist honors with a 77.
