Wolverines suffer 9-2 loss to Litchfield

Josh Spreiter scored twice and the Litchfield Dragons blitzed Wadena-Deer Creek with a 62-24 shot advantage Friday in a 9-2 victory.

Dan Savoie used three different goalies against the Dragons. Wesley Janson relieved Dylan Isola in the net and took the loss.

Matthew Stone gave the Wolverines their first goal when he found the net with an assist from Logan Meyer at the 7:35 mark of Period 2.

Bridger Pettit scored a late, unassisted goal for the Wolverines.

Logan Meyer's hat trick provided the Wolverines with their only points Thursday in a loss to Willmar.

Meyer was unassisted on two of his goals. Bridger Pettit assisted Meyer with a goal at the 4:36 mark of the second period.

Gabe Amon had four goals and one assist for the Cardinals.

Dylan Isola kicked out 44 shots in the loss. Dylan Baker stopped 13 shots for Willmar.
