Bridger Pettit came up with his second hat trick in three games and Taylor Bienusa had a goal and four assists Monday as the Wolverines won their opener in the Willmar Bus Cup.

The Wolverines scored four first period goals against the Tigers.

"They tried to play a college style game but they just don't have the skills," WDC head coach Dan Savoie said.

The Tigers managed to out-shoot the Wolverines almost 2-to-1 but they ran into a red-hot goaltender in Dylan Isola, who kicked out 39 shots.

"Dylan Isola played out of his head," Savoie said. "I told him afterward 'that's the kind of goal-tending I need.'"
