Leah Dykhoff broke up a shutout with a third period goal but the Blue Devils could not catch a break in a Mid-State Conference rout by the Lakers.

Shannon Utecht scored a hat trick for the Lakers and Haley Maloney added two goals.

The Lakers scored five of their 10 goals in the opening period.

"Nothing seemed to go right and the bounces all went for DL. The first period was sluggish and sloppy for us but the girls tightened up and did play better after that," Blue Devils skipper Jim Conrad said.
