Wolverines build steam heading into season finale Tuesday with Frazee

Hope Theisen dug out 20 defensive saves, Brittany Noon racked up 13 kills and Courtney Volkmann contributed 28 assists and five ace serves Monday night as Wadena-Deer Creek swept Breckenridge 25-18, 25-14, 25-11.

"This was a good section win for us," WDC head coach Sue Volkmann said. "Breckenridge played a good first game and we were a little slow to react. Once our passing began to click we had too many offensive options against them and we were able to score in bunches."
