The Bertha Blazers ran their winning streak to five games Sunday with a 10-1 victory over the Detroit Lakes Angels in Hi-10 League playoff action.

The Blazers jumped ahead early scoring three in the first, then adding one in the second and four in the third.

Michael Riewer sparked Bertha in the first with a three-run shot with Marcus Riewer and Dakota Aeling aboard.

Aeling picked up an RBI in the second when his fly ball scored Brian Hinzmann from third. Hinzmann got aboard when he was hit by a pitch.

The Blazers capped their scoring in the sixth as Aeling singled, Michael Riewer drew a walk, Mike Blom came up with an RBI single and Riewer scored on a fielding error.

The Lakers pushed their only run across in the fourth as Kirk McLeod scored on a wild pitch.

Blom got ahold of a 1-0 pitch and doubled in all three runners. Blom scored himself when John Riewer reached on an error. After Jared Hoemberg flied out, Hinzmann drew a walk. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch and scored when Jordan Riewer laced a base hit.
