Your Letters: Keep Wadena Cemetery beautiful

On the 22nd day of August, 1898, a few Wadena residents formed the Wadena Cemetery Association and established what is yet today a beautiful resting place for our departed.

In order to keep the cemetery in its usual condition, the Cemetery Association asks for everyone's cooperation with the following:

Please remove all artificial flowers and vases before June 15. They pose a great problem in mowing and trimming around the monuments. No glass containers.

Flowers that are on shepherd staffs or are in permanent vases must be positioned to allow for mowing.

No dogs or pets are allowed in the cemetery.

All burials and cremations must be properly recorded through the Wadena Cemetery Association.

No plants or trees may be placed without prior approval of the Cemetery Board.
