The Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Klinnert of Wadena, was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena, with Father Aaron Kuhn as celebrant. Frank, age 72, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the hospital in St. Cloud, MN.
Frank was born to Martin and Lorraine (Mohs) Klinnert on June 22, 1945 in Perham, MN. He completed high school and entered the US Army in 1965, and served until his honorable discharge in 1967. Upon his return Frank found employment with Homecrest, Industries in Wadena. In his free time he was an avid reader. Frank was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, along with Bluffton Lions.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Lorraine.
He will be remembered by brothers Jerome (Lori) Klinnert of Browerville, and Andrew (Daidre) Klinnert of Ottertail; sisters Joanne Klinnert of Minneapolis, Carolyn (Roland) Klitzke of Menahga, Lorena Klinnert of St, Paul, Mary (Allan Adinoff) Klinnert of Denver, CO, Lynette (Bruce) Anderson of Bemidji and Yvonne Klinnert of Stillwater; along with nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Frank's nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Wadena, MN.
