Margaret "Maggie" St. Marie

Funeral services were held for Margaret "Maggie" St. Marie, age 27 of Wadena, Minnesota on November 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wadena, Minnesota with Pastor Nate Loer and Pastor Dirk Currier officiating. The hymns were sung by the congregation, accompanied by Mary Snorek. Special music was provided by Mike Ortman. The pallbearers were Mike Flath, Bobby Dombeck, Steve Dombeck, Cheryl Lachowitzer, Sara Amos, Margie Vargis, Chris Romann and Joseph Romann. Maggie will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, New York Mills, Minnesota. Margaret "Maggie" Elaine Flath was born on August 20, 1989 at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota to James Jerome Flath Sr. and Marilee Elaine Roman. Maggie graduated from the Wadena High School with the class of 2007 where she enjoyed the FCC and choir. She attended the Minnesota School of Business in St. Cloud. Maggie enjoyed working with people and was employed at various nursing homes. She was employed at Kenny's Candies in Perham for 2 years and most recently at Perham Living where she found her niche, helping and caring for people as a Home Health Aide and CNA. Maggie's children: Emilee, Tonio and Malik were the foundation of her care giving as she loved them all and they will miss her dearly. Maggie died at her home in Wadena on November 7, 2016 at 27 years of age.

Maggie is survived by her 3 children: Emilee, Tonio and Malik all of Wadena; parents: Marilee (Nick) Longmuir of Wadena; James (Duane Shatava) Flath Sr. of Hewitt; brother, James (companion, April) Flath Jr. of Frazee; step-sister, Susan Lenzin; step-brother, Nicolas Longmuir Jr.; step-grandmother-in-laws: Margaret Guy-Jones and Mary Flath; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
