Babe Winkelman guest speaker at Men's Night Out

Hunter, angler, family man and host of "Good Fishing" and "Outdoor Secrets," Babe Winkelman will be this year's keynote speaker at Tri-County Health Care's annual Men's Night Out program to be held Monday, April 18 at the Wadena Memorial Auditorium. Men's Night Out is a free educational event on health, for men ages 18 and older.

Winkelman takes great pride in teaching America to hunt and fish, and has done so since the 1980s. In addition to entertaining and educating his loyal fans every week on numerous cable/satellite and broadcast stations (including Versus and FSN), Winkelman has appeared on national talk shows and within the pages of "People" magazine, "The Saturday Evening Post" and other leading publications. He continues to write nationally-syndicated fishing, hunting and conservation columns read by millions. His presentation "Healthy Living, Life Experience and Family in the Outdoors" is sure resonate with the outdoorsmen in the crowd.

Health screenings will be offered from 5-7 p.m. and Tri-County Health Care staff will provide free lab testing and screenings for glucose, cholesterol, PSA, thyroid, blood sugar, body fat and blood pressure. Informational booths will be available on a variety of health topics pertinent to men's health. A complimentary light meal will be available at the same time. From 5:30-6:30 p.m., Winkelman will be available to sign autographs.

The evening program will kick off at 7 p.m. with a panel of Tri-County Health Care medical professionals participating in a question-and-answer session with Men's Night out participants. This year's panel includes Tri-County Health Care Family Medicine providers Steve Davis, M.D. and Ben Hess, M.D., and accompanied by one of TCHC's visiting outreach specialists.

At 8 p.m., the evening will conclude with Winkelman's presentation, "Healthy Living, Live Experience and Family in the Outdoors."
