Minnesota Polution Control plans Crow Wing project meeting
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will hold a meeting for the Crow Wing River Major Watershed Project from 1-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13 in Classrooms A and B at Lakewood Health Systems just east of Staples.
The meeting is intended to provide a good introduction into the Major Watershed Project work to be started beginning in 2010. The meeting is open to the general public, state and federal agencies, concerned citizens and other interested groups, lake associations, schools.
The agenda consists of two items:
Overview of the Major Watershed Project and all its components.
Overview of the Intensive Watershed Monitoring design for the Crow Wing River.
