Kern Electronics and Lasers, located in the Wadena Industrial Park, received more assistance from the Wadena City Council at their May 9 meeting in clearing the way for the building of a 21,000-foot addition to their facility at 1501 Industrial Drive. In a separate project for the city this week, a Tri-City Paving crew put their backs to it Monday morning as blacktop was applied on Bryant Avenue in front of the U.S. Post Office in downtown Wadena. Wadena VFW Post 3922 sent a color guard led by Post Commander Mike Tast to the SonRise Christian School Thursday morning for a flag dedication ceremony.
