WDC group competes at regions, 7 qualify for state

Eleven members from Wadena-Deer Creek's Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter participated in the regional competition held Jan. 23 in Detroit Lakes. Seven qualified for state. Eleven members of the Wadena-Deer Creek Business Professionals of America (BPA) participated in the regional competition held at the Detroit Lakes campus of M State on Jan. 23. Seven of the eleven members qualified for the state competition, which will be held March 7-9 in Minneapolis. Nancy Peterson is WDC's BPA advisor.

The following students qualified for state:

• Sayde Anderson, Macy Hartman and Molly Kraemer (first place in Administrative Support Systems)

• Marissa Jahnke (first place in Keyboarding Production)

• Paige Hartman (first place in Legal Office Procedures)

• Jessica Langer (second place in Interview Skills)

• Molly Kraemer (second place in Advanced Word Processing)

• Anna Kraemer (third place in Keyboarding Production)
