• Christopher McCullough is one of more than 30 Concordia College students traveling abroad during spring mid-semester recess, Feb. 25 to March 4, on one of four exploration seminars to Hawaii, Egypt, Norway and Vienna, Austria. McCullough, a senior, is the son of Gerald and Cindy McCullough, of Bluffton. He is on the "Egypt: Ancient and Modern Christianity and Islam" seminar to Egypt led by Michael Johnson and Elna Solvang.

Students will be traveling to Egypt to explore its religious, historical, social and political significance and get a window into ancient and contemporary Egyptian life. The seminar is organized around Egypt's "three lives" Pharaonic, Christian and Islamic. Students will visit the ancient pyramids, temples, tombs, mosques, St. Catherine's Monastery and climb Mt. Sinai.
