Students at the Sebeka school have been participating in a Foods Around the World Program with University of Minnesota Extension NEA Donna Anderson and Wadena County 4-H Coordinator Kris Huebsch. Youth in Sebeka and Menahga are able to attend the five sessions for free thanks to a grant from West Central Telephone in Sebeka and the SNAP-ED grant. Students grades 4-6 will be learning about Mexico, Nigeria, Italy, Brazil and Japan. Along with fun games, crafts and activities the students are able to prepare and sample foods from the country they are learning about.
