Area youth enjoyed a day off from school for Presidents Day by taking part in a 4-H project day held at the United Methodist Church in Sebeka. Project day was not only for 4-Hers, but all youth in the area. Kids grades K-6 from Wadena, Menahga, Sebeka, Staples, Aldrich, Deer Creek, Hewitt, Verndale and Ponsford had great fun at project day this year. The kids learned how to build a bird feeder, flip flop scrap books, cooked pizza sticks, sewed backpacks, decorated creative words, and learned about dog sledding. Cloverbud-age kids (kindergarten to second grade) also had fun learning about farm animals for the morning, enjoying purple moo juice, making sheep, ducks and playing fun games.
