The following WDC seniors spoke on the four pillars of NHS at the induction ceremony. The four pillars are character, scholarship, leadership and service. As NHS members, they must exhibit these four qualities in their daily lives. Wadena-Deer Creek High School recently held their induction ceremony for new National Honor Society members in the HS Commons. Families and staff were invited to the ceremony. Membership in NHS is available to juniors and seniors. Students must have a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average to be considered for the scholarship criteria. WDC math teacher Rachel Bounds serves as advisor.
