Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools will be honoring all veterans at their Veterans Day programs on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

WDC High School will host its program at 10 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. The program will include: Presentation of Colors by Wadena VFW, Armed Forces Salute of veterans in attendance, patriotic music by WDC High School choir and band students, introduction of Wadena Legion Girls and Boys State representatives Andrea Jensen and Taylor Garcia, Voice of Democracy Contest entries Jonathan Swisse and Adrianna Buettner, and the Veterans Day address by First Lt. Peter Rampaart.

WDC Elementary School's program will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Wadena Memorial Auditorium. The program will feature: Presentation of Colors by Wadena VFW and Deer Creek American Legion, recognition of veterans and families, patriotic music by K-6 and high school band students, and the presentation of the poster and essay winners.

The public is invited to attend both programs honoring our communities' veterans.
