FCCLA members attend leadership training at Bethel University

Wadena-Deer Creek Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America members, Caitlin Savage, Frannie Bakken and Elliot Doyle recently participated in "Be the Voice FCCLA!" leadership camp at Bethel University in St. Paul.

Rhett Laubach, nationally known, high energy motivational speaker presented practical information on being an effective leader. His underlying message was "live to serve."

The FCCLA leaders spent time planning the Minnesota FCCLA Region Conferences that will be held throughout the state. Bakken serves as the Central West Area Secretary and Savage and Doyle are members of the MN FCCLA Peer Education Team. They have the responsibility to plan and carry out their area conferences.

FCCLA is a dynamic career and technology youth organization that focuses on preparation for careers, family, and peer education.
