Integrations Wellness and Recovery Center LLC, a new mental health and counseling practice, has opened in Wadena upstairs of the Cyber Café, Suite 203.

"We provide mental health and psychological services for children, adolescents and adults," Dr. Rich Decker said.

Decker has a doctor of psychology degree and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), dividing his time between the Integrations location in Hutchinson and the one in Wadena. He is in process of finishing requirements to become a licensed psychologist.

The services in Wadena include individual and family therapy and psychological testing.

His wife and co-founder, Jill Decker, has a master's degree in mental health counseling and is also an LPCC. She provides services in the Hutchinson location, and was the one who came up with the name "Integrations."

"I actually lived in Wadena here for about the last five years, and family things made it so that a move to Hutchinson is what made the most sense for us," Rich Decker said. "But I've been practicing here for quite some time and decided that it was a good idea for me to go out and set up practice on my own under the umbrella of Integrations."

He had practiced with Neighborhood Counseling Center for about five years.

The Deckers established their practice in July, and Rich Decker has been in the upstairs of 210 S. Jefferson since the middle of August. He said that their goal was always to be independent and open their own practice.

"We've lived here for five years and have had a commitment to the community," he said.

He said the location was a "perfect fit" with little expense and no need for extensive remodeling.

And the caffeine downstairs?

"I can't complain about that part of it at all," he said.

Decker is in Wadena two days a week, generally Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with appointments from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. He can be contacted at (218) 319-7186 or
