Tri-County Health Care hires new chief financial officer

Mark Lunseth, CPA, began his duties with Tri-County Health Care as its chief financial officer on Dec. 30.

Tri-County Health Care (TCHC) announced that Mark Lunseth, CPA, began duties as chief financial officer (CFO) on Dec. 30.

Lunseth comes to TCHC with more than 30 years of business experience which most recently includes 10 years as the CEO of Northland Medical Associates in Duluth and as a board member of the Northern Lakes Health Consortium. He also has experience as a vice president with Fairview Health Services, as the CEO with Rush City Area Hospital and Clinic and was the vice president and chief financial officer of Chisago Health Services in Chisago City, Minn.

"We are proud to have Mark as the newest member of the TCHC administrative team," Joel Beiswenger, President and CEO, said. "His experience is a great asset to Tri-County Health Care and the communities we serve."

Lunseth and his wife, Susan, are from Champlin, Minn., and anticipating relocation to the Wadena area. The Lunseths have four sons and four grandsons. In his spare time, Lunseth enjoys hunting, fishing, pointing dogs and repairing most anything.

"I look forward to building on the successes of Tri-County Health Care to further strengthen the long-term viability of TCHC and to become the preferred medical organization of the region. I am looking forward to being a part of the TCHC team," Lunseth said.
