Van Bruggen elected to TCHC Governing Board
Matthew Van Bruggen, partner and attorney at Kennedy, Nervig, Carlson and Van Bruggen, was recently elected to the Tri-County Health Care Governing Board.
"Matthew has strong links to the community and a commitment to creating the best quality of care through successful leadership," said Joel Beiswenger, president and CEO. "Tri-County Health Care is fortunate to have new dimension added to the strong group of individuals making up the Board of Directors. Van Bruggen will make a great addition to the team."
A Wadena native, Van Bruggen lived in the area since 1980 and is a Wadena-Deer Creek Public School graduate. He obtained his bachelor's degree in criminal justice and political science at the University of South Dakota and graduated from Hamline University Law School. Van Bruggen lives in Wadena with his wife, Shanna, and their two children, Ava and Jack, along with their dog, Nick. When not at work, Van Bruggen enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, exercising, travelling, visiting family in South Dakota and watching Minnesota Vikings football.
When asked about becoming a Tri-County Heath Care board member, Van Bruggen said: "It was an extreme honor. I have always been extremely proud of TCHC, impressed with the people and services it provides and I want to ensure this great legacy continues for years to come."
