Amazing shots at PLGC

Two "Great Shots" happened at Perham Lakeside GC in the last two weeks. Perham Junior Nick Dockter scored a rare double-eagle on Maple No. 3. Dockter hit a driver and 6-iron on the par 5, 467 yard hole.

Dockter joins Bob Cavanagh and Nick Anderson as the only other Perham locals to perform the feat, slated by the USGA as five times rarer than a hole-in-one. Both scored their deuce on Oak No. 1.

Don Riepe followed two days later with a hole-in-one on Pine No. 3. It was Riepe's first ace and the first on the 8-year-old, 187-yard hole. Fellow KLN employee Ron Grewe was on hand to witness the perfect shot.
