TCHC honors service members

In honor of soldiers fighting for the country, Tri-County Health Care is showcasing photos of employee family members who are serving or have served in the armed forces, a press release sent to the Pioneer Journal said.

The project, "Support Our Troops and Families", was developed by Kris Johnson, Tri-County Health Care Health Unit coordinator, the release added. It also said the project gives staff members an opportunity to share their loved ones' stories, in light of Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.

"My dad, George Krause, was a Marine during the Korean war," Johnson said. "He taught me to always support our military men and women."

The photos, which went on display May 1 and will stay until after the Fourth of July, are on display at Tri-County Hospital, near the waiting room windows of the nurses' station.
