Annual Regional Art Show opens at NYMRCC

The annual Regional Art Show will be on exhibit at the gallery of the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center now through Wednesday, May 23. Over 120 oil and acrylic paintings, ceramics, mixed media, photographs and prints by more than 60 individual artists make this annual exhibit an exciting display of the creativity of local artists. A reception in honor of the artists will be held at the Cultural Center from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 5. The public is invited to this celebration of the work of the artists.

The oil painting "Sunday Musicians" by Virginia Marr of Fargo, "Vanessa," an oil painting by Myron Sahlberg of Alexandria, and the acrylic "Airing Dirty Laundry" by Menagha artist Dawn Rossbach are representative examples of the work in this show. Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. There is no admission fee for art exhibits at the Center.
