Deer Creek man involved in three-vehicle accident

Isaac Lustila, 19, of Deer Creek was involved in a three-vehicle accident Monday morning in Hubbard County that left a Mound, Minn. man in critical condition, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Mark Heath, 53, was stopped on U.S. Highway 71 signaling a left turn onto 150th Street. Lustila, who was southbound on U.S. Highway 71, did not immediately notice that Heath was stopped. He braked and tried to pass on the right but his 1996 Pontiac Grand Am hit the rear end of Heath's 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, pushing the Heath's vehicle into northbound traffic. Heath's vehicle was then hit broadside by a 2004 Dodge Ram driven by Duane Teske, 69, of Menahga.

Lustila suffered no apparent injuries as a result of the crash nor did Teske or a passenger in his vehicle, Judith Teske, 69, of Livington, Tex.
