Six of seven Wadena boxers claimed victories Saturday night before a capacity crowd at the Wadena National Guard Armory.

Veteran Golden Glover T.J. Steward won his main event fight and earned a Region IV berth when he combined some solid left and right punches with a hard body blow to stop Brainerd's Tom Fanjoy and claim a second round RSC.

Patchrick Szathmary of Wadena scored a third round RSC over White Earth's Ray Carlson in their 180-pound bout.

John Johnson kept up his steady improvement in the ring with a third round RSC victory over 142-pound foe Cory Oothoudt of Leech Lake.

Wadena's Albert Boldt hammered Charles Oothoudt of Leech Lake for a three-round decision at 108 pounds.

The Wadena Boxing Club sent 14-year-old, 195-pounder Sean Dunblazier into the round against Mike Baker of St. Cloud and saw him score a victory by decision.

Wadena's Sam Davidson chalked up a decision in this 160-pound fight with Fergus Falls' Seth Carpenter.

The only Wadena boxer to come out on the short end was heavyweight Justin Isaacson who lost on a close decision to White Earth's Lief Carlson.

Detroit Lakes' Shane Kern defeated Tanner Hultin of Fergus Falls in a 165-pound fight.

Fergus Falls' Sergio Garcia racked up a third round RSC over Brainerd's Blake Herron at 132.
