Nichols to speak at Wadena Assembly of God Sept. 18-19 in Wadena

Dr. David Nichols will be ministering at Wadena Assembly of God at 419 First St. SW, Wadena, on Sept. 18-19.

There will be two sessions: at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, and at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19.

Nichols has been a pastor, preacher, and educator for more than 20 years. He holds a PhD in New Testament studies from Marquette University and is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He has been a professor and administrator in Christian higher education for 15 years.

In 1997, Nichols had a profound experience of the presence of the Lord in his car while driving in North Dakota. The Lord asked a disturbing question, "Are you a Pharisee?" The answer to that question has led Nichols to experience a personal revival. He has traveled extensively in ministry across the US, and has also ministered in Argentina, Ukraine, India, Korea and Africa. The scope of the international ministry has ranged from pastors' schools to seminary courses, open-air crusades and conferences, as well as preaching in churches. The central passion of Nichols' ministry is revival and renewal among God's people.

Nichols founded Heart of the Father Ministries out of a profound sense of the desire of God to pull His people close to Him. God the Father is revealing His heart of love for His sons and daughters. Nichols brings a prophetic message that calls people to the altar for an encounter with the loving God. The Rev. Allen Refsland of Wadena Assembly of God said, "Come expecting salvation, deliverance, healing, and mercy from the heart and hand of our Heavenly Father."
