Profane tirade, .21 BAC land man in jail

A Sebeka man found passed out in his vehicle after hitting another vehicle gave a deputy an earful before they put him in jail.

Bobby John Haley, 21, was found by a Wadena County sheriff's deputy around 7 a.m. on June 5 in someone else's yard, after his GMC wagon had come to rest against a Chevy Impala, according to court records. The deputy noticed Haley's vehicle was still in drive as he sat in the car, and the deputy tried to wake him up. The deputy put the GMC in park and shut the engine off.

When Haley awoke, court records said he went on a profanity-laced tirade, telling them repeatedly they should violate him sexually, court records said. The deputy found three open containers of alcohol in the vehicle, an unopened beer and a marijuana pipe. Haley allegedly blew a .21 blood alcohol level, and is currently on probation for felony controlled substance crime with a condition that he abstain from using alcohol.

His first court appearance was set for June 22.
