On Sunday, Jan. 10, kids in grades 6-8 from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church traveled to St. John's Preparatory School and attended the St. Cloud Diocese, Junior High Youth Rally. Kids were welcomed by the Diocesan Youth Council who helped plan the event. The keynote speaker jumped out from behind a curtain dressed as Spiderman, prepared to save Mary Jane from the Green Goblin. He had a message on finding our gifts from God. After lunch, the attendees were able to take part in several activities. The group from St. John's enjoyed swimming, ice fishing, basketball and volleyball. The day ended with Mass and a challenge talk by one of the senior high students. When asked what could be improved for the future, kids said they wished the rally lasted longer.
