Lakewood Health System's Rehabilitation Department welcomes new therapists
Lakewood Health System announced the addition of Miles Krueger, doctorate physical therapist, and Janet Byland, occupational therapist, to its rehabilitation department. Both therapists began practicing at Lakewood in June.
Krueger came to Lakewood Health System after graduating from the University of North Dakota, School of Medicine in May. Krueger has worked in a number of facilities during his clinical experience including St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth; CentraCare, St. Cloud; Unity Medical Center, Grafton, N.D.; and Select Therapy, Grand Forks, N.D. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Krueger joins six physical therapists currently practicing at Lakewood Health System.
Byland, a former rehabilitation services manager at Long Prairie Memorial Hospital and Home, joins Lakewood Health System with 14 years of occupational therapy experience. Her experience lies in long-term care, acute care, school and home based centers and outpatient facilities. Her prior practice focused on all ages, but she has specific knowledge in pediatric development delays, orthopedic hand and arm injuries and cognitive/memory changes. Byland finished her bachelor degree in occupational therapy at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul and is licensed and certified with the Minnesota Department of Health.
