Nancy Lee Snitker, 41, of Bismarck, N.D., formerly of Verndale, died unexpectedly on May 2, 2007.
She was born May 12, 1965, in Aberdeen, S.D., daughter of Ronald and Marylee (Heaton) Coats. She lived with her family in Dell Rapids, S.D., until 1968 when they moved to Verndale. She attended school in Verndale and graduated from Verndale High School in 1983.
She married Gary Grondahl in 1986 and resided in Grafton, N.D., for most of their marriage. They were divorced in 1989. In February 1993, she married Curt Snitker in Evergreen, Colo. They resided in several areas of the country, the last seven years in Bismarck. She greatly cared for others and has worked the past seven years at Medcenter One in Bismarck to make life better for others.
She has always greatly loved of animals and has had a variety of pets in her home, as well as a great love of the outdoors and the wonders of nature. She also loved working on projects around the house, both inside and out. During the summer the best place to find her was at a lake relaxing and riding the jet skis with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Curt Snitker, and son, Connor Snitker, both of Bismarck; her mother, Marylee Coats, Verndale; sister, Ronny Coats-Kassan, Ashland, Ky.; her best friend Holly Stastney; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Coats.
