Local man dies in electrical incident

A Bertha man was killed in an electrical work incident Thursday morning in Otter Tail County.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office received a report of a person not breathing just before 11 a.m. Nov. 30. Emergency responders arrived to find Michael Mousseau, 23, not breathing. Mousseau was taken to Tri-County Health Care Hospital in Wadena where he was pronounced dead.

Mousseau was working for R.D. Offutt Company's farm division at the time of the incident. The report said he was working on high-voltage potato unloading equipment when it appears he was electrocuted.

The case remains under investigation.
