Wadena County man injures arm in farming accident
A Wadena County man was injured in a farming accident Thursday, July 23.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a call at about 8:15 p.m. Thursday that a man had his right arm stuck in a baler in Rockwood Township.
When hay became stuck between a pickup and the rollers, the victim attempted to clear the hay. He left the baler running while attempting to clear the hay, resulting in his right arm going through the rollers and becoming lodged, according to the sheriff’s office.
The man had severe injuries to his right arm and he was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
Agencies assisting the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office were Menahga Police Department, Sebeka First Responders, Minnesota State Patrol, Tri-County Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care.
