Crockpot Easter Ham

If your family is anything like mine, holidays are excuses for feasts. The dinner table is usually overflowing with several different dishes. Easter is no exception. In addition to two main dishes (usually a ham and a beef dish) there are at least five different side dishes and several desserts. When you are cooking that many dishes, sometimes the oven can get a little full. This recipe for crockpot ham is a perfect solution - easy, delicious and it frees up a little space in the oven. Enjoy!

Crockpot Easter Ham

Makes 24 servings

• 1 cup honey

• 1 - 8 lb. cured ham, boneless ham

Spread about 1/2 cup of honey on the bottom of the slow cooker crock. Place the ham flat side down into the slow cooker - you might have to trim it a little to make it fit. Use a spatula or basting brush to spread the remaining honey onto the ham. Cover, and cook on low for eight hours.
