Tator Tot Casserole

This is, hands down, my family’s favorite meal. It is very easy to make and is perfect for a cold day.

Tator Tot Casserole

• 1 lb. ground beef or turkey

• 1 can (10.75oz) cream of chicken soup

• 1 can (10.75oz) cream of celery soup

• 1 cup of ketchup

• 1 cup of milk

• 1 lb. of frozen peas and carrots

• 1 package of tator tots

• salt and pepper, to taste

Cook ground beef until browned, drain off fat. In a large bowl, mix cooked beef with ketchup. Spread ground beef mixture on the bottom of a 13 by 9 inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix frozen veggies with both soups. Spread on top of ground beef. Add milk and gently stir. Layer tator tots on top until completely covered. Sprinkle salt and pepper.

Cover dish with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Take off foil and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until tator tots are golden brown. Enjoy!
