School supply help
Many Minnesotans are reaching out to help WDC students recover from the June 17 storm. Immanuel Lutheran of Wadena worked with Bemidji Calvary Lutheran and Lutheran Disaster Response in a Backpack Project for WDC students affected by the tornado. Thirty-one filled packs were delivered this past week.

Welcome back, WDC staff
Superintendent Virginia Dahlstrom conveys a spirited welcome back to Wadena-Deer Creek staff on Monday, Aug. 30 in the Memorial Auditorium. Staff attended a three-day workshop at WDC. It was the first time the staff had been together since the June 17 tornadoes.
