WDC wrestlers to hold car wash June 4

The Wadena-Deer Creek wrestlers will hold a fundraising car wash from 3-8 p.m., Friday, June 4, under the water tower in Wadena. The cost is a free-will donation.

Wolverine wrestlers holding fundraiser

A fundraiser will be held for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines wrestling team from 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the Nite Owl in Wadena. The team will receive a percentage of all orders during the special extended hours buffet.

Eagles pin down BHV

The New York Mills Eagles saw Mike Barthel’s club coming Saturday and ousted the Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale crew from the Section 6A team wrestling tournament with a convincing 54-16 win.
