Volleyball fan bus going to St. Paul

A Wadena-Deer Creek fan bus will be traveling to the Minnesota State Volleyball Tournament at the Xcel Center in St. Paul Thursday and Friday. Persons interested in riding a fan bus may pick up a form in the high school student services office on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Forms are due by noon on Wednesday. The bus will leave the high school at noon each day. The cost of the bus is $8. Admission to the games are $8 for students and $12 for adults. Tickets must be purchased at the Excel Energy Center box office. The Wolverines will play Marshall in the Class AA state quarterfinals at 5 p.m. Thursday. They will play again Friday in either the championship or consolation bracket at 5 p.m. There will be no bus for Saturday’s event. Students in Grade 6 or below must be accompanied by an adult to sign up and/or ride the fan bus. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the WDC Activities Office (218) 632-2300.
