Library hosts Breining
Popular Minnesota outdoors author Greg Breining read from his newest book “A Hard-Water World” Tuesday at the Wadena City Library. Breining appeared at the library as part of the Kitchi Reads/Kitch Writes project, made possible with funding from the Minnesota Legacy Arts Fund.

Legacy-funded programs coming after the New Year
The Friends of the Wadena City Library are once again sponsoring the 2010 Giving Tree over the holiday season. They have also graciously agreed to match all of the donations up to $1,000!

Benefit planned for Dec. 9
We are very happy to announce that the Cyber Friends and Knitters are sponsoring a benefit this year for Cyber Youth and the Wadena City Library. The benefit will be from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Cyber Café. There will be fresh brewed coffee and goodies served all day. A hot turkey sandwich lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (A free will offering will be accepted.)
