Verndale voters unofficially pick Blaha, Schwartz and Veronen
Bill Blaha, Jeremy Schwartz and Scott Veronen gathered the most votes in Tuesday's Verndale School Board election, edging incumbent Jim Runyan.
Bill Blaha, Jeremy Schwartz and Scott Veronen gathered the most votes in Tuesday's Verndale School Board election, edging incumbent Jim Runyan.
In unofficial results from the school district, Blaha had 114 votes, Veronen had 90, Schwartz had 87, and Runyan had 59. The top three vote-getters secured seats on the school board.
The results are expected to be made official at a canvassing board meeting Thursday night in Verndale, but are considered unofficial until that time.
