Patients and caregivers are asked to leave family members and friends at home when visiting Lakewood Health System. If visitation to Lakewood Health System is necessary, all school-aged children will be required to wear a mask and all other visitors must complete a brief wellness evaluation. Patients experiencing flu-like symptoms will be asked to wear a mask. Symptoms include:
• Fever
• Headache
• Muscle aches
• Cough
• Runny Nose
When seeking to make an appointment for influenza like illness, all patients are asked to call Lakewood Health System’s flu hotline at (218) 894-1515 or (800) 525-1033. A nurse will be taking all calls to help callers identify influenza signs and symptoms, when to seek medical care and how to identify warning signs for severe cases.
