Fix one stroke from qualifying at The Territory

Tyler Fix was just one stroke away from a section-qualifying round Tuesday the Sub-Section 6AA tournament at The Territory in St. Cloud.

Tyler Fix was just one stroke away from a section-qualifying round Tuesday the Sub-Section 6AA tournament at The Territory in St. Cloud.

The Wadena-Deer Creek star carded an 85 while fellow sophomores Bryce Pazdernik and Bryan Silvers turned in respective rounds of 92 and 93.

“We have big expectations for the sophomore class,” WDC coach Kevin Ross said.

Senior Colton Borg shot a 95 while classmates Andrew Browne and Brandon Kramer shot rounds of 102.

Fix earned all-conference honors Monday in the Mid-Minnesota Conference finals at Blueberry Pines in Menahga with an 84.

Pazdernik fired a round of 89 while Borg carded a 97 and Browne shot a 99.
