Rural Wadena musician Robert Segovia performs his original song, "Te Busco a Ti", Monday evening, the day his latest album, "Out of the Norm", was released digitally. A concert for the release of the physical CD will be held 6:30 p.m. July 28 at the Wadena Evangelical Church. Segovia has been active in performing locally, as well as other areas of the country.

Members of the Bertha-Hewitt Select Choir, under the direction of Shelly Engfer-Triebenbach, carolled at the Wadena City Library last Wednesday. The musical interlude at the library was just one of many stops in and around the Wadena and Bertha areas.

Bill Stearns and Jolene Johannes of State Farm Insurance flank band Wadena-Deer Creek band director Lisa Weniger on the stage of the Memorial Auditorium. State Farm recently presented Weniger and the school with a $20,000 donation to replace band instruments and equipment lost in the June 17 tornado.
