Chicago, Loverboy signed for Moondance Jam
Chicago has been signed with Loverboy for the 25th anniversary of Moondance Jam this summer, July 21-23.
Chicago will headline the Moondance main stage Friday night. This will be the band's first appearance at the Jam. Hailed as one of the "most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era" by former President Bill Clinton, the legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, came in at no. 9, the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine's Hot 200 All-Time Top Artists. Also, Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six decades.
Chicago will be inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with their first nomination. Their first album, Chicago Transit Authority, was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2014.
With their trademark red leather pants, bandannas, big rock sound and high-energy live shows, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques. The band will rock at Moondance Jam Friday afternoon.
