Book launch July 16 features Lina Belar and Elisa Korenne
Lina Belar will celebrate the launch of her first chapbook of poetry, "Rural Score," published by Finishing Line Press, on Sunday, July 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Green Island in Wadena.
Elisa Korenne will join Belar to present two mini-programs of readings, songs and stories at 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Korenne is a local singer-songwriter-storyteller and the author of "Hundred Miles to Nowhere: An Unlikely Love Story," published by North Star Press.
Green Island is a perfect place to have the launch of a book with the name of "Rural Score." The park-like grounds of this former family farm would be inspiration for anyone to write their own poems and you are invited to do so.
Both authors will have books for sale. Come meet the authors, enjoy a poetry walk, listen to live music or just relax in this beautiful setting. Refreshments will be available. There is no charge for the event but reservations are requested.
Please R.S.V.P. to email@example.com.
