Turning in only one sheet listing five books read will make you eligible to win a prize. You may register online at krls.org or come in to the library and we will help you get set up to participate. The prize drawing will be held at noon Saturday, April 1.

Join Minnesota author, Colin Mustful, as he provides a book talk at the Wadena City Library on Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. Mustful is the author of three novels which tell the story of the people and events surrounding the U.S. — Dakota War of 1862. Utilizing elements of fiction and nonfiction, Mustful writes a unique cross-genre in order to convey this period of Minnesota history in a manner that is both compelling and educational. Learn about Minnesota history, the writing process and the self-publishing experience at this upcoming event. This free Legacy Program is funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage. The Wadena library has his latest book, "Ceding Contempt."

The turnout for the first Beginner Computer workshop in February was successful and we are planning a second program on Saturday, May 20. You may come in to the library to put your name on the waiting list, or you call the library at (218) 631-2476.
