Skilly & Duff Irish band will play a fundraiser concert at the Eagle Bend High School Auditorium, Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m., according to Jan Notch, spokesperson for the event. Profits from the show will go to the Eagle Bend Area Development Corporation, for continued improvements in the area.

The Skilly & Duff band, first place winner of the Celtic music competition at the 2009 Irish Fair of Minnesota, is popular across the region for it's family fun shows. Their repertoire ranges from beautiful ballads to rollicking jigs and hilarious comedy songs, along with toasts, jokes and stories of the band's travels in Ireland and the Maritime Provinces of Canada.

Tickets are $8 advance and $10 at the door. Purchasers of advance tickets will qualify for a chance at a "mystery prize," according to Notch.

Tickets are available at the Eagle Bend city hall, and from any EBADC member, or by phoning (218) 738-5982.
