Your Letters: Will God forgive us for abortions?

Jan. 22, 1973: the infamous legalizing of abortion. Thirty-nine years of ruthlessly killing infants in mothers' wombs.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 -- 39 years too many!

Abortion: the intentional removal of the fetus from the womb before it is capable of living outside of the uterus. Direct abortion is a grievous sin comparable to homicide, since a fetus is considered a living human being.

There is no mercy in the act of abortion. An unborn child, fetus, growing person is at the mercy of the abortionist. Will God have mercy on us? More than likely not if abortion is not brought to a complete stop today.
